Memories

I was standing by the windows one day, palms pressing against the curt metallic grilles at the edge. The zephyr breezed in some rather thoughtful memories of our past. Of the 6K we had.

It was all too evident that our class had segregations, divisions that brought us apart. Thinking back, it was all naive child play that we had all committed ourselves to, relatively with all the cat fights, gossiping, or sometimes plainly jealousy. How could we be blamed? That is human nature, something too complex for primary school children to decipher.

And of course, we had the seeds of joy planted in our hearts. Remember the times when we openly mocked about someone? (b_rd n_st t_n). Or when some person in our class had a crush on another person of the opposite gender and we would take pride in spreading the rumours and having good laughs out of them? To me, it is like precipitate. It would always be there.

And as the zephyr dies, the mottled indentations on my palm reveal yet something more. We had learnt to move on well with those memories sealed. That is adaptability. And now as we lay separated by distance, we are reuniting back again, for the annual chalet. Cheerios and enjoy your stay then. (:

Check in at around 2 pm...book BBQ pit all those..
Then go in room settle down all these...
Around 3.30 ...
Start to start fire, marinate chicken all those =x

At around 8.30.. Maybe start to chat all these..
play those together games like truth or dare..

5..Go Pasir ris park and watch sunrise together, play that playground[ NO RUNNING OFF UNLESS HAVE RAIN]
7-9= Washup and bath[ previous day never bath lei]
9-10= Eat breakfast at BK or Macdonald...
10-3 ESCAPE!!!
3-5.30= cycle at pasir ris park
5.30 prepare.. then take bus to pasir ris..then from pasir ris take mrt to marina bay..
then form marina bay take bus to a steamboat restaurant..
The eat till around 10 ..then go back... around 11++ lo...
Maybe go Arcade or bowling alley to bowl..
then free time again till 5 then do same thing..
then go eat breakfast and checkout...then maybe go catch a movie..
or go home catch some sleep..

Hi, I just realised today is Kiat Hwee's 14th birthday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY :D

Few updates:

1) We can't get 8,9,10 anymore, because 9th is fully booked. Would it be best to place in on 6,7,8? If you have any (violent) objections to that arrangement, please do sms me before 6pm today! 6,7,8 is wednesday to friday.

2) Some people whom I have got into contact with have confirmed their ABSENCE.
Timothy - Away to japan?
Kristabelle - Only attending for a day.
I hope not a lot of us would be absent or it would not be fun + it would be ex!

3) one room one night = $99
two rooms two nights = $396
not very expensive if we can get a lot of people to come! so, do inform the others about this blog and the chalet too!

4) if we want a bbq, we need to plan for it, otherwise we would all go hungry, hahaha. (from past experience)

5) always come here to read regularly, and do encourage the others to do so. seeya.

PS: I am booking the chalet with Lai Seng today at 6pm.

Hey, such big(-sized) font makes you excited right, hoho! That's because I've got good news for you, people! Today I got in touch with (the now slim and svelte) Ong Lai Seng, and I learnt that his mother could help us book the chalet, and she is above 18 and also an NTUC Union member, and that means we can book the chalet at a cheaper price! Cheerios! We get to save money! :D

Let's confirm a few facts first:
1) Costa Sands Resort -> Downtown East
2) 8th, 9th and 10th December -> Friday, Saturday, Sunday
3) 2 rooms -> $99 X 2 = $198 (total amount excluding GST) and so the amount you pay depends on the amount of people coming. pay on chalet day itself)
4) Room type: Deluxe -> X-Boxes to accomodate to the guys.
5) You want to go right! (Rhetorical XD)

Question: Do you guys want to BBQ either on the 1st or 2nd night?
(Apparently it costs $10 per pit for 1 night. And we, 6Kians, don't cook that well, do we? :P)

Request: Could you inform the other 6Kians around you about this chalet and the blog? Don't forget people like Kalyani, or even Jing Jie, who has shifted away, etc.

Hey people! Chewy here. So I guess Kiat Hwee roughly told you all about having a chalet? Here are just some MCQs:

1) Do you want the chalet to be at
a. Downtown East --> Good food joints, good fun, but little space, and expensive)

b. Pasir Ris --> Less food joints, less fun, because you need to walk over, but more space, and less expensive)

c. Changi --> No food joints, no recreation areas, but lots of space, and super cheap)

d. Sentosa --> Good food joints, good fun, but little space, medium-priced, and super far)

2) When do you want the chalet to be held?
- give the dates when you are not free
- give the dates which you would prefer
- 2D1N or 3D2N?

3) Do you want to meet up before that for an outing as well as to discuss about the chalet?
DUH, yes or no larh. Haha.

Swaying

Sway with the gentle zephyr on the September month. The sun coos and the emotions flow. How was it like to be back 2 years ago? When the bunch of us are still in primary school, back in soft yellowing uniforms, a brash cacophony of maroon and white, bespectacled; wide-eyed. Grinning. Swaying. Lovely air; Lovely sky. Lovely Mrs Low. A huge bump on her, a little radiance worn off. She must have lectured another one of us again. We might have forgot to bring our homework. We might have handed up inferior pieces again. Sigh the breath away. It was stressful; yet relaxing. Those random days of laksa and nasi ayam. It was a mere recount of 50cents or a dollar. An account that passes up to reflections no more of just food and the stomach.

It was one word: Memories.

To recall, to think. It was hard not to reveal in a little cackle, or perhaps a wry tear down the cheek. It was sad for us to have had parted, but we have since reunited, and soon, it's time for us to meet again. Like the sun rises, and the sun sets. It's not a vicious cycle. It's a beautiful naturistic one.
